The STE2AgM Certification initiative exemplifies the power of interdisciplinary collaboration by integrating experiential learning opportunities across CAFNR, A&S, and COE (Engineering). This cross-university effort creates a dynamic pipeline for preparing future STEM workers and educators who are not only content-strong, but also globally aware, culturally responsive, and research-driven.
The purpose of this initiative is to embed experiential learning and research components into STE2AgM training for PVAMU undergraduate and graduate students. Through hands-on applications of science content and engagement with STE2AgM community partners, students will actively participate in communities of practice that strengthen their academic preparation, expand their professional networks, and enhance their readiness to lead in STEM education fields.
